Cod fishing has really improved throughout February the average stamp of codling is around 3 to 5 lb and the odd better one showing  too not uncommon to get plenty codling in that bracket now Last trip we saw 20 plus codling and a few nice rays too still no dogfish about thank good still few whiting about not as many as usual but this month seems to bet the better month size wise and the weather has settled allowing us to get out more now make hay while the sun shines and take advantage of the good fishing and weather while it lasts NEWS FLASH FEBRUARY 12TH huge amounts of codling have turned up offshore some very good fishing at the moment take advantage don't wait until they are gone cheers
